“Somewhere between the dream and reality,
where everything is possible!”

Blake's on the Park
Following a fire that damaged the beloved Midtown Atlanta institution, Ross Design was tasked with the job of updating a well loved but inadequate upper level space to the level of the original lower level. Opening the skyline views by raising the ceiling and rebuilding two exterior spaces.

JOHN’S CREEK Oasis
The client wanted to replace an existing pool with a new one. We rotated the design to align with an existing poolhouse and better relate to the house. We also created a raised area to provide poolside privacy from the adjacent golf course. The raised area provided the opportunity to include fire and water features.

Mountain Retreat
The client wanted a secluded get away for him and his family in the north Georgia mountains. The house had stunning views of a bend in the lake and distant mountains. It included an eagles nest home office where he could write. The home presents a blank wall to the street for privacy with parking underneath.

Hosea Williams
This was a proposal for a multifamily project designed to give women leaving prison a safe place to land and reconnect with their children. Located in a traditional neighborhood, the design is based on traditional apartment buildings from the 1920’s.

Evergreen
A new seven home enclave located on a steep lot in Southwest Atlanta. The challenge here was rezoning a single family lot into seven lots with a shared drive and amenities. This project will dramatically transform an underdeveloped piece of property and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Cayuga Lake Vacation Home
This project involves finishing an existing basement for an expanding family. It also involved the reimagining of the deck on the back of the house to increase the connection of the house to the outside. The new folly houses a playhouse and potting shed. The new design recalls the craftsman architecture of a bygone day.
Springtown Hacienda
New construction home in Texas. Designed for aging in place, this home offers a comfortable plan built around a courtyard. Built adjacent to a draw, the screened porch takes advantage of the grade change, is elevated and feels like a tree house.
Grant Park ADU
Located within the Grant Park Historic District, the location of this modern folly on the lot meant that the client could do whatever they wanted. In this case, a contemporary, contemplative retreat to be used as a guest house.
